RAVIOLI LASAGNA

INGREDIENTS:

Scrooge’s pantry will love this easy-to-make, quick-serve wonton lasagna.

This is perfect if you have guests over or are very busy that evening.

I try to stay fully engaged and enjoy doing so, especially when it comes to helping out with children’s special events and school functions.

Still, it’s nice to be able to inspire someone every now and then.

It would be great to accompany the passion of the little ones.

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Lightly coat a 9×13 pan with cooking spray.

The second step is to cover the pan with ½ jar of sauce.

Divide the spaghetti sauce evenly into a package.

The third step is to fluff the manti with the remaining sauce from the first pan.

Sprinkle half the mozzarella and parmesan cheese on top.

Step Four: Another row, this time starting with the sauce and moving over the cheese.

Cover a baking tray with aluminum foil and place it on the tray.

After 30 minutes in the oven, remove the foil and bake for another 15 minutes.

Let rest for five minutes before serving.

Variations:

Meat Options:

Use ground beef, sausage, or a mix for a classic meat lasagna.

For a lighter option, try ground turkey or chicken.

    Vegetable Add-Ins:

Add spinach, mushrooms, or zucchini for extra veggies.

Use roasted vegetables for added flavor.

      Cheese Varieties:

Mix different cheeses like ricotta, mozzarella, and Parmesan for a richer taste.

Substitute cottage cheese for ricotta for a lower-fat option.

        Sauce Alternatives:

Swap marinara sauce for Alfredo or pesto for a different flavor profile.

Try a mix of white and red sauces for a unique twist.

          Herbs and Spices:

Add Italian seasoning, fresh basil, or oregano to enhance the flavor.

Sprinkle red pepper flakes for a bit of heat.

            Tips:

            Layering:

Arrange the ravioli in a single layer to ensure even cooking and flavor distribution.

Alternate layers of ravioli, sauce, and cheese for the best results.

              Pre-cooking Ravioli:

Use pre-cooked or frozen ravioli to save time. If using fresh ravioli, lightly cook them before layering.

                Baking:

Cover with foil during the first part of baking to prevent over-browning.

Remove the foil in the last 15 minutes to allow the top to crisp.

                  Resting Time:

Let the lasagna sit for about 10-15 minutes after baking to set and make serving easier.

                    Customization:

Adjust ingredients based on your preferences and dietary needs for a personalized dish.

These variations and tips will help you create a delicious and adaptable Ravioli Lasagna to suit your tastes!
